Got a Rosen nav with Sirius system sitting in the garage waiting for install.
    Speakers are in, Polk DB6501.

I've run Pioneer, Kenwood, and Sony in the past.

Honestly... Pioneer receivers aren't what they were when they marketed the "Supertuner" in the early 80s... those were some GREAT stereos.
Kenwood is nice, but the user interface is NOT friendly.
Sony X-Plod? Similar complexity of the interface, but it is somewhat more intuitive and not quite such a hazard to use on the road. The Kenwood is flat out horrible. It's a shame because I do prefer the Kenwood electronics.

I'm still running a Pioneer on the bike, but 99% of the time it is simply acting as an amp for the MP3 player built into my Garmin Nuvi GPS.

But such is life in a single-DIN with the complexity of modern head units (and IMHO, overcomplexity that really is not needed... they don't do that much that we couldn't do in 1990 with 14 buttons).

Here is my JVC KW-AVX840 7" Double-Din. has DVD, and bluetooth for hands free calling and wireless music streaming. The screen is totally detachable, and it came with a case to put the screen in when detached. I added the steering wheel controls module, and the ipod/iphone cord. Here are some pics along with the mic that was mounted.

The clock and airbag light were removed to make room for the mount. The circuit board is still intact behind the scangauge, but you can no longer see the light. I may try relocating the light, but for now I'm fine with the way it is. As long as the truck see's the circuit for the air bag light is still there I'm good.
