Dude you gotta get the HD hooked up (if you have stations where you live). My wife has a Sonata Limited that came with HD. Makes a huge difference in sound, especially on the high end...very crisp. It is now one of the main criteria for when I replace the radio on my 12. That and I'm looking to do the mod that I can use the stock USB and aux panel. May have to have the audio shop do that one.

Not sure the Thunderbolt directly supports TV out. My HTC Incredible supports TV out through composite, while my Rezound supports TV out through HDMI. I don't see a HDMI port on the AVIC-Z140BH. If the Thunderbolt does either of these, it will have a usb port that looks like this:

I know the AVIC-Z140BH does not have HDMI, so I will have to see if my phone supports video out. You guys that have iphones, did you have to do anything special, ie, settings or whatever, to get the video on the HU. I plugged my Ipad into my HU but was unable to see Netflix on the HU. My GF and Daughter have an Iphone so I'm just wondering.

There is a setting when you are in the "Ipod" mode on the unit, you have to change the settings from controlled by HU to controlled by Ipod. Once you change this setting, you can watch movies on the HU

I have an Pioneer AIVC-Z120BT headunit and I love it. Its got navi, backup camera, padora, bluetooth, I can watch videos while driving and everything. It also has HD radio and XM radio but I don't have the extra modules hooked up for it. But I love it. I have a Rockford Fosgate T0 12" subwoofer that does a good job at shaking everything and gets some attention. It's hooked up to a 1000watt Hifonics amp.

So far this is what I am running. I'm still researching a new sub amp, the Audiobahn is junk but it was free so why not for the time being. Looking at the BD1000.1 or BD500.1 depending if I do another type-r 12 or not.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Finished up the rear cab with more deadening and added another set of JL Audio ZR650-CSi components in the rear:

I'm looking at getting the Pioneer AVH P8400BH pretty soon. I will then add the Nav system to it, the one thing that lets you watch DVD'd while driving and a back up camera. I need to find out what cameras are good though. I also want to see if I can also add a front camera too.

    Here's my setup so far:
Kenwood ddx419 HU with stock speakers. Sounds great though. Plays nice with my iPhone. Plays pandora wireless through bluetooth and phone calls are perfect. I have RCAs ran to my glove box and with my 400w anytime with rear outlet mod hooking up the Xbox is plug and play for long trips and vacations. I have Sirius/xm as well. It uses navigation from my iPhone and displays on screen as well as Netflix etc. best part is with the h/u, dash kit, and sat radio adapter I only spent 500 bucks. All purchased from a local shop. I could've spent less by hunting for deals online but I got excited and just bought it after demoing it in the store. So far I'm happy with it. I like sat radio except for the monthly bill and listen to pandora a lot. Hooking up the navi with a cable to my phone is cumbersome but it works.

Did you need a mounting bracket to install it? I just got mine on the mail yesterday but don't know if I need the bracket or not. Thanks

Finally added an Alpine MRP F300 amp to my Pioneer AVH P3400BH headunit. Quite painless, found a good place to put it in the rear cargo area. Fit perfect. Great sound to go along with my Alpine 610 speakers.
