Both me and my buddy have the M&P 40. Neither of them has ever had an issue. Even with really crappy rounds that I didnt think would even fire, it cycled perfectly every shot. The only thing I dont like about it is that I want a crimson trace on it but cant afford it right now..... But I cant blame that on the gun.

I'll never understand why someone would settle for a plain jane AR-15 when they could have a FAL! :D 7.62x51 baby!

'Cause when the shit hits the fan the streets will be littered with 5.56 NATO and .223. 7.62x51 might prove to be a challange to scrape up when you run out. Then all you have is a heavy stick.

Good Eye... Really nice guys there. It's so much better with Kris owning it now. Try to get there as much as possible. If you are regular and respect the rules and ask permission they may let you rapid fire. I had killer groupings with my 45 tactical when I first broke her in, just with regular sights.

Heh - for a second I thought who would put a 3x magnifier on a pistol?

ETA - also, let us know about eye relief. That's one of my biggest peeves about the $300+ EOTech/Aimpoint magnifiers. The window for eye relief is razor thin, I assume because the tube is so short.

eye releif is .5" - .75" from the optic, nose right on the charging handle. Im not crazy about it, but I think for now its worth having if you have to look at something further down range to get a PID on it. the aimpoint/EOtech magnifiers are a higher quality glass, and are built to a better spec, but this works tolerably well for me.

Heres some pics of my M&P 15-22. Like everyone else has said on this thread super fun and acurate gun to shoot. Put about 500-1000 rounds through it every time I shoot. 525 blazer rounds foor about 16 bucks makes it really cheap to shoot.

15-22 is about most fun you can have shooting... so consistent. And bang for buck puts it through the roof. Never had 1 FTF through thousands of rounds.
