I've never felt the need to put a giant barrel on any of my handguns to improve my accuracy. If I feel my accuracy needs work I practice more. This 'mod' just seems like a band-aid fix that will cause other issues for a problem that doesn't exist.

May be true. But the velocity and energy it will add will make it possible for hunting this fall, which is why I got it.

Factory 10mm loads were engineered for barrels in the 4.6" range. If you're lucky you will net somewhere between 20-80fps depending on what weight projectiles you are running (read: 135gr v 200gr for instance) which is basically nothing. If you plan to load your own rounds with a slower burning powder to take advantage of the additional length to generate more velocity that's one thing but probably way too much effort for the negligible gains. It's not worth the added overall length (how do you plan to carry/ draw?) and potential for unreliability IMO. If self defense as a secondary weapon while hunting is your goal, the stock Glock 20 w/good defense ammo will suit your needs just fine and has done so for thousands of people nationwide in that role. If you have anything else in mind I would HIGHLY recommend reconsidering your platform. This is all just my 8 cents (adjusted for inflation) so take it for whatever you want.

lol I posted this pic of Jen with a shotgun on a "post pics of your gf with guns" thread on Calguns, and, first, they complained that the pic was too large, since, unlike TW, Calguns doesnt auto resize pics, and, second, they complained that it is vulgar and asked me to take it off due to the middle finger

Aaron, the inclusion of trophies in the corner of the room suggests that you see yourself as superior to others, and support a monarchical government system since no "participation medals" are present. Political talk isnt allowed on this board.

They're marketing one for use in cleaning purposes only, while the "actual" suppressor model comes with the adapter already on a filter, serial'd and thus requiring the stamp.

Looks to me like a marketing loop-hole :anonymous:

They both screw onto a threaded barrel in order to attach an oil can to the gun. I think you can shoot through the debris catcher one just fine. Seems like a loophole product to me. Once the ATF catches on do you get toasted for owning the debris catcher adapter or only if you get caught using it as a suppressor. Just seems sketch and could land a few people in hot water...

I'd be shocked if they didn't know already...they (cadzid) would be complete and utter fools to put it on the market before asking someone about the legality of it.

Not the best pictures, but you get the idea.

Here is my new DPMS LR308B. It is an 18" bull barrel 308 with a nightforce 3.5-15x scope. I have also installed a Geissele SSA 2 stage trigger. The magpul PRS stock, rifle length handguard, and palm rest grip are on order but haven't arived.

our toyota oil filter thread pitch is 3/4 x 16

    standard ar-15 thread pitch is 1/2 x 28

I bet you can buy a Grade 8 or 9 bolt threaded for 3/4 x 16 and drill and tap the center of that bolt for 1/2 x 28 and have your own home made oil filter adapter :notsure:
