    I plan on It during the summer... And my range goes up to 1000 which is more than adequate for the 175 grain as you already know... Plus I'm starting to get into long range so I would rather work my way up to .338 LM... .300 WSM Is a bad ass round but it seems to be a pain in the ass to reload... Correct me if I am wrong...

    Any magnum rifle caliber you reload is going to need more care and attention to detail than a non magnum. Bolt guns in general, for that matter. I consider myself to be a fairly experienced and competent reloader and still don't play much with seating depth when loading the .300 as I get very good results with a factory HSM load I cloned.
    I'm way outside of the book numbers with my .223 stuff, though. That 5.56 chamber is a tough one to blow up. *knocking on wood*

    That thing will serve you well. It's got a lot of aftermarket support, too. Just google Mossberg 500 mods.
