I'm hopefully getting an M1 garand that will have irons only next summer, the magpul irons are just me considering, I usually shoot my .22s with iron sites as well. So I'm no stranger to irons sites. I love shooting them, problem is I prefer optics on ARs from

Accuracy? My 8.5" AR puts up MOA groups like its childs play. My point being that why go for a pistol round when you can have a rifle round in something the same exact size? See what I am getting at? Lever actions are their own animal, I want a lever action for a suppressor host. Problem is the Kriss is not a lever action so that is getting away from the point.

Yep all ammo is like that around here. The Sportsmans here have actually started to put their ammo back on the shelves instead of having to go to the counter for it AND they have .223 sitting and nobody is murdering eachother for it lol. The .22 is still a little spotty but it's starting to come back around.

Ammo is the one thing I won't sell during shortages. I probably could have retired early had I taken advantage of some of the premiums some people were willing to pay. Crazy shit.

I hear ya, but it got me thinking about diversifying the firearms so I have ones that take different ammo. I will get a 10/22 eventually but for now I'll get a larger caliber rifle to play with and I could use it to hunt if the opportunity arises.

Sorry, I didn't realize you were talking about the Kriss.

i've sold ammo only twice, once was this week and once was about 6 months ago

both times were for fair prices and because it belonged to guns I no longer owned

first time I sold my 357 to my mom and packed all the 357 ammo i had with it...2nd I sold my only 380 pistol and sold off the 380 ammo stash i had with it

I have no interest in owning another 380 so the ammo would be useless to me except to eat up space...and the 357 was going to mom during the height of the ammo shortages and i've got plenty of 38spl that i kept around

<<<<<<This Guy does :) and I picked up an MP22 to go with my MP15-22 and MP15OR, so I can shoot like a madman and spend like 50 in ammo. Although with the Vector...50 bux of ammo goes in a heartbeat. Only have to wait until next Saturday to pick them up. I was going to get a Kriss Pistol before but the shop jacked the price 500 as I was gonna drive 3 hours to buy it. But I got the Carbine locally from a buddy who just got a shipment of 6 yesterday, and he is already down to 2.

This is the one I got... and I can get a carbine and a handgun at the same time, can't get two handguns

And this is the plinker to add to my 22 collection, has a rail, is nice and compact, easy to clean and fire

yeah I guess I just grew up around the .45 but the .38 is a good light weight round for rapid engagement

What do you guys think of a mid-80's Marlin 336cs 30-30? I found one for sale, I do want a lever action (I think they're neat firearms) and I found one local for $450 with a scope and a box of ammo. The wood stock and blueing look perfect, seller claims a very low round count and the condition seems to reflect the same. Any opinions on an older Marlin?

I've got one, good reliable gun. What kind of scope is on it?

It's a Bushnell Sport View and the seller claims it was purchased new with the gun back in 1986. He also claims the gun hasn't been fired in a very, very long time. Anything I should be aware of with a firm arm that may have been sitting around? I'll check to make sure it was cleaned and oiled before it was put away and that all the actions work freely, but anything I should pay attention to in particular?

I did do some research on the price of the gun on Gunbroker. The price seems in line with ones on that site given it's condition. I can find cheaper ones, but they look to have been bush guns and show signs of wear. Some of the new looking, well maintained ones are priced higher than this one.
