When the Eclipse came out I was thoroughly unimpressed- a standard Kimber with the flats polished is still a standard Kimber. Now, the Custom Shop guns are another story. My CDP Pro and Gold Combat were just excellent guns.

It looks like a cutts compensator or something similar, my uncle has something similar on an old J.C. Higgins pump gun, choke tubes are held a little bit in front of the barrel....he has a big bulge in one after shooting a slug

This is what it is. I wished it didn't have it but I'm stuck with it. Good thing I have all three chokes and they work great. I've got 4 boxes of shells and I'll be using it this time next week in the dove field. It does reduce the value but I'll never sell it so I guess it doesn't matter much.

I actually like the cutts compensators, But that is because I like unique items when it comes to guns.

Anyways, I really really really wish this was my gun, I've been following this build for a while, now who thinks they know what it is?

Based on the bolt and the size of the magazine well, I'd say 10/22.

That is what it is, not just any 10/22 though, one of the members over on rimfire central made the 10/22 receiver out of brass. He made the stock as well. I believe it has Kidd trigger groups, barrel, and bolt. The gun was originally going to be chambered in .22 short only, but it ended up as a .22 lr...and it is one awesome looking gun
