 That's sort of what I was getting at with that gif. "Well if he doesn't realize his sight is backwards, he's not gonna figure out that he can switch the ejection port."

Just playin! I'm envious of your purchase!

Lol.. A simple "Hey Retard....your sights on backwards" would have sufficed.
I didn't put 2+2 together till after I saw the gif and went to look at the ejection port.
No excuses...I was just excited and slapped it on real quick before I put my mbus sights on.

Hope to get it out to the range next weekend.

It was a perfect opportunity! It was either that, or use the GIF to demonstrate the proper way to give zero fucks for hot brass when you have a beard/mustache.

You should post that one anyways, I haven't seen it and I have a beard!

This one is one of my favorites (not a gif though):

    Have ya shot it yet?
    How do you like it?

When I shot a friends I couldn't get used to how the recoil felt (even if it was light)

Oh, and I should be picking up a tokarev this week, good price too I think. 575 for the gun, holster, 3 mags, and 1050 rounds of ammo (approximately)

Havn't shot it. May get out today for an hour or so to get the 512 zero'd.
The reviews that I have read indicated that the recoil was much lighter but it was quite a bit louder when fired.

I had wanted an A1 for a very long time but it seems that people don't want to part with them or are in the $4k-$7k range, which is a bit out of my ballpark.

I purchased it from Palmetto State Armory and although for the most part the sales staff is pretty knowledgeable, I was told that it accepts standard AR/M4 magazines which is not true. He insisted they did so I had him open a new 30 rnd pmag and behold...it fits except the Aug magazines have lock/lip 1/4 of the way down and that's what holds it in. Standard AR/M4 mags do not.

It field strips very easily into 6 separate components. I have not been able to remove the rubber butt plate to get to the trigger group.

Anyway, hopefully I can get a range report later on this afternoon or tomorrow.

Nice Tavor. Is it a TAR, CTAR or STAR?
    Yours?

Thank you. It's a SAR 16.5" barrel chambered in 5.56/.223 w/PWS FSC556 QD brake suppressor mount. That picture has my YHM 30cal can laying next to it but I've got a 5.56 version for it too. It also wears a FDE Magpul MS4 sling (QDs built-in w/QD buckle) and I've got a new optic on the way too. It's one of the few rifles that doesn't look silly wearing the 40rd Pmags. :D

FYI, I love this dang rifle. Not to knock on your AUG because those are sweet as shit too but for me this rifle fixes the things I didn't like about my AUG. If you're a bullpup fan (I'm an AR fella but am quickly coming to the dark side) then you really should get behind one of these systems. They're pretty awesome!

One thing that will make a bullpup fan out of an AR fan is the fact that it's shorter overall than my 9" barreled AR15 with a 16.5" barrel.

You sure that is a GI, looks like a Mil Spec to me with the SS bushing.

I agree. Went to the range and my bushmaster patrolman didn't even leave its bag. What a thrill the pups are to shoot.
Looks like the SAR's and Aug A3's are priced the same.

He makes some good shit. Check out his stuff on the Tavor to get an idea what I've been talking about. He also just did a video of a tour he took of the facility where the Tavor was born in Israel. Cool stuff.

So I just got my 1911 on Friday. Well tonight I went looking for interesting things when it came to the 1911...I found the .460 Rowland conversion,

    DEAR GOD!

It's pretty much .44 mag performance out of a 1911
