This is a primary arms micro dot. I used to have it on my AR. I like the dot. I haven't shot it on the buckmark yet but I like the size and feel.

930 SPX is a good choice.

Mine has been a tank as long as it's fed heavy loads, or birdshot with velocity > 1250 FPS. It doesn't like the truly cheap stuff (1145, 1200 fps) because there's not quite enough oomph there to cycle the action.

Also, remember to REMOVE the piston gas rings and clean them thoroughly when you clean the gun. A lot of people overlook this and it will lead to eventual cycling problems if you don't do it. Lots of carbon builds up on the underside.

Thanks for the tips. Lots of people said don't shoot the Winchester Universal cause they are larger then stated so they cause the shell to get stuck. I have some 7.5 shot 1200 fps I want to try out since that's what I have at the moment but it's raining so might have to wait until next weekend to go to the range.

Took my M&P45 out today - had the day off. Traded for it second hand (probably 3rd hand) and was getting lots of light primer strikes the fist time out. The last owner swore all he did was put a competition striker spring in it, so I pulled it apart, cleaned it up and put a new striker spring in it, along with an Apex duty kit in it. Noticed the old spring was 1/2" smaller and realized the previous guy used a 9mm/40 spring; no wonder I was getting light strikes.

This time out, 150+ rounds through it today and no failures of any kind. It's looking more and more like this will be my new HD gun. I love the firepower coupled with the ergonomics of the M&P. And it shoots great, too.

First 50 rounds today at 10 and 15 yards on a IDPA silhouette:

    And with my primary light:

This is correct. The Winchester White Box shit runs like crap, at least in my gun.

Recommend a good break in of 150 to 250 heavy loads - buckshot, 2,3,4 birdshot, slugs, etc. prior to use of light loads. Let everything wear in a bit and tweak the springs.

My go to target ammos are Winchester AA 1300 FPS (7.5 or 8 birdshot) or Remington Gun Club 1300 FPS (same size). Both can be found at wally world for ~$8 to $9 a box of 25 and run the thing like clockwork thanks to the higher velocity.

Only marginally more expensive than WWB at ~$7 a box.

You could be launching 80 grainers past 1000 yards with that setup. My buddy also had his rebarreled and does this regularly. Calm day nets easy MOA accuracy. Load them hot enough and it doesn't fall out until it gets past 1100 yards or so. Pretty impressive for a .223 on steroids.
