shot this puppy over the past weekend. it belongs to a neighbor. Magnum Research BFR chambered in .460. i had never shot a handgun this large and was pleasantly suprised. recoil is not as bad as i have been led to believe. the neighbor uses it for deer hunting. he killed two doe off our property last year with it. (yes i know...poor trigger discipline in this photo...it was unloaded, the finger is in the guard to help hold the monster out to take the picture. it's single action only anyways)

Very cool. My late father-in-law has/had 2 S&Ws chambered in .460. One is a 6" barrel and the other is 8". He hand loaded and boy those kicked like mules with hot loads!

i thanked my neighbor about 3 times knowing that i had just shot about $10 worth of his ammo. he is in the process of getting the proper dies and loading setup to reduce cost. i don't think i would try it one handed, but it shoots real nice with two paws wrapped around it. it tore up an 8" log i was using as a target pretty good. it's really cool piece, but i don't think there's one in my future...just not my style. if i need that kinda firepower i'll just grab my 870. :D

Same here; fun but not but I wouldn't own one. My father-in-law bought them to hunt bear but he never got to go.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Well after about two months I finally got my other toy back. XD .40 I had the grip reduction done with a Barsto barrel, extended mag release, Dawson night sights, trigger re-worked and mag well installed. I CAN'T WAIT TO SHOOT IT!

jsut curious, but what makes the XD better than the glock i need some reasons. cause my buddy is always telling me how much better a glock is than that SA XD. i tell him it jsut depends on the shooter and he says bull shit...glock is better.

I like the Springfield over the Glock but both are awesome weapons.

I like the features of my XD over a Glock and I think Glocks are a little more sloppy in the action. personal opinion

My new shotgun that I bought today. It's a Remington 870 tactical magnum. It has a neat finish to it, like an army green parkerized style.
