And no clothing material in the wound channel either? You know better than I here, but I'm surprised a gunshot wound can be totally void of foreign material that it wouldn't require any cleaning at all. No clothing fibers, no powder? Crazy.

Yeah & you have to realize that it also hit the concrete floor after it passed through.. So that could have caused the tip to slightly mushroom

Agreed, pretty shocking, especially considering hollow point.

I seriously would write Hornady. Thats some BS IMO. I am going to the store right now and getting different ammo. Thats exactly what I have in my pistol right now.

Thanks for the ballistic testing man.

Actually I take that back.. I walked in there.. It's wood lol.. No concrete. (That room was added on afterward) But it still didn't penetrate the floor.

Turns out to have stomach of 3 year old girl. :puke:

Yarh. I hope you just got a dud, lol.
I've got over 1000 rounds through mine so far with zero issues. No rust yet, and no sights impetuously removing themselves. Also no FTF's or FTE's even though I've run everything from Blazer Brass to Federal Hydrashok. Everything's fed, fired, and ejected properly.

It also hasn't spontaneously shot me, which I always consider to be a plus.
