18" SPR build is missing a muzzle device. Waiting on Forward Controls Design to finally put out their 6315KM. Once they do, I'll put one on the 18" and order the rest of the parts I need for my ODG 11.5" SBR build. Roger over at FCD is gonna get like $800 of my money in parts. Basically have almost everything else in that build already.

So how was the form 1 can experience. You build it from a kit? The turn around for approval is very fast isn't it? Did you have to go the trust method to do it this way? How is the can compared to one made by the big name companies?

The experience was much easier than I expected to be honest. Some people buy kits and only have to drill out the end cap. Mine was a bit more involved due to a custom part I made.

I didn’t use a kit as it’s not a common/standard suppressor. Combination of parts from different companies.

Form 1 efile on a trust took 18 days. You don’t “have” to go through a trust is my understanding.

I compared it to my B&T SD can I have in nfa jail (ffl has a range - shoot while you wait) and it’s pretty damn close at the shooters ear and identical standing behind the shooter.

At least for me, I hated the idea of having a gun in my safe what would only get used at an indoor range - for at least a year while I wait. This way, I have 11 months shooting both my SD guns wherever I want.

Roger makes an incredible product every time. I'm waiting on him to stock those new muzzle devices. Beyond that I need one of his uppers with the overpressure gas vent (helps as I'm lefty and shooting suppressed AR as a lefty is gassy), one of his well-made NP3 BCG's, various lower parts and the like. Pricey, but worthwhile. Gonna make a wonderful gun that will last forever.

    Next time I go out
    I'll tag you.
You prefer range or the desert?

Although if I'm not mistaken I believe I've met you like on a San Gorgonio or Cleghorn meet or something
