i say no on the military, none of the items he is using are military issue. not anymore. and his stance is not correct. That stance makes him immobile (locked knees) plus no SF/MP i have seen in a fire fight holds his magazine that way. could be wrong tho, have been before.

    nice weapons tho.

    lol :) it's my personal stuff. my issued stuff is a colt m4, a beretta m9 and a 25mm bushmaster chaingun :p

i'm 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance, USMC

the stance is called a "groucho". i learned it in assault leader's course - a MOUT-training school for the Marine Corps, and is what we all get taught nowadays. knees are slightly bent

nothing wrong with holding the magwell. they dont ecourage it in the military because of the crappy mags we get, which don't get a flush fit with the magwell. im using magpul p-mags, and those are amazing!

    hope that answers everything.

Stance is good for getting shot in the plate, not the soft stuff. Diggin the last of the mohicans style shotgun holder. M11 is better too :D

If I were to guess, I'd say you learned the "groucho" a few years ago. Or were taught by some older guys. :p

Nowadays its called the "combat glide". Supposed to give you a smooth shooting platfor while walking (or gliding) even while mid-step. Or some crazy thing they try to tell us.

If we are doing MOUT, I'll sometimes use the magwell as well to hold on to. I've seen that quite a bit. But I usually use a grip pod so thats my first choice.

Just saying with how everything gets blown out of proportion as well as all the (insert names/adjectives here) people that think everyone who owns a gun is a violent maniac therefore we should not be able to own guns

Calm down there with your grumbling, not an anti-gun thread jack, just a heads up/good looking out. I'm a supporter of guns and gun rights, do some reading. I know we're not taught to do that much in the navy...

Oh God shoulda known, MY BAD GUNS!

MurphyZ, it was $600, but they've gone down some since then. i got mine right after they came out with it. it's an awesome handgun, i'd recommend it to anyone, for all purposes. holds 19+1 9mm rounds, and i use hornady's critical defense round. i just got the viridian c5l green laser+light combo for it, and it's the perfect setup for me.

nice i use the sigma 40 SW 3 1/2in barrel. for home defense, downside is it only holds 12+1. my wife likes it but it kicks to much for her. she wants a 9mm. are the glock 9s any good or are you paying for the name?
