4 cylinder. Aka, sexy reliable beast.

 

2.7 still made in Japan!

 

Motor and tranny - yes. And exactly why I bought it!! Japan specs ftw.

The rest Assembled though in USA.

I just got one and wanted to add some new "bigger tires" and wheels on it but was wondering how does it drive with bigger wheels/tires on it for being a smaller engine than a V6 ?

 

The whole truck or just the engine?, I wish my Tacoma was Made in Japan as is the 4Runner.

@Paul631 How does it feel with those grabbers on there? What size ya running, I'm torn between these and Transforce A/t's and Wildpeaks

 

I'm loving them! 265/75 r16, C-range, aprox 50lbs each.
They're a relatively soft compound so the traction on hard/rocky terrain is amazing, and my truck is only 200-250lbs over stock so they should last until 60k miles.

 

One of the reasons I was considering the Transforce A/t's was the fact that they're E load but relatively light weight at only 43lbs! I've run them on my fathers 1500 Ram and they've been wearing like iron.
