Thanks Casper and Gugman. I plan on getting into the back country, but not any rock crawling or high level stuff. Yes, I know it's more than I need, but it just looked too good to pass up!

IDK if there is a more than you need? Some here will discourage you on the db lift but there are plenty hee that run them off road and love them. The truck is way cool My only idea would be if you plan on taking it on trails the plate bumper is great but first I'd consider sliders and then you can sell the step bars. The sliders won't make it easier to get in but will offer protection where the steps can get cought and ripped off. Put sliders on then you can sell the step bars and recoup some monies. Great looking truck I am partial to white though

That makes sense to replace the steps with sliders.

please believe I'm in no way trying to be negative the truck is fantastic. I have just seen too many times on here where guys take their trucks off roading with the step bars just to have the steps cought and ripped off the bars. My point I guess is perhaps get it done while you can still sell the steps and get some money back. A good set of either bolt on or weld on sliders will actually support the weight of your truck, can be used as jacking points with a hilift, and give you true protection

A great source for info will be reading through peoples build threads. Especially if you can find ones in your area where they off road in your lcal environment. What part of the country do you live in? Not asking for specifics

Western slope Colorado, in the Glenwood Springs area. So of course it's going off road, lift and all! Might as well add some armor....

I was stationed in Co. Springs. Truck will work great! Aluminum front bumper to save some weight is good but steel for the skids and obviously the sliders.. Oh your going to have fun with this! Start a build thread of your own when you get started it'll make things easier. I just started mine last week after most stuff has been done then had to go back and try to write stuff. Let me know hell I'll sub it cool truck
