Don't know how I missed the part about Vietnam. I have a friend who goes there all the time. Some beautiful scenery. Hope you were there for some tourism.

No. I'm happy with the cap rack only. Don't plan to carry that much crap. Mostly day trips, and a few long week enders. Weight aloft has always been a concern for me.

All third brake lights must light up. They are not reflectors.

Thats what i thought but was confused by the 3rd brake light thread. Sorry noob here, I just changed the spark plugs out of my 07 that i bought with 98000 miles after I hit the 107000 mile mark just last week all original plugs. Any idea what the middle brake light on the top of cab is called? I'm looking to jut swap out bulbs and cant find 3rd brake light bulb at NAPA, only cargo light. Other than that I've kept up on all maintenance since i got it, double checked hoses, belts, fluids etc.

Its called the third brake light. Take out the old bulb i think its like a T25 or T30 torx bit. Read the number on said bulb and get that bulb from napa. Bulb number should be 194. I replaced mine with super bright LED's.

None of them working, softopper is on right now. The lense is tinted red so you can just put in some white ones and it will just be a slightly lighter shade. Amazon sells them super cheap, get a pack of regular 194 white led bulbs. I usually find 2 or 3 in the pack dont work so i get like packs of 10. If you put the bulb in and it doesnt work, flip the bulb around in the socket as it does have to go in a certain way with LED's.

168 works too, only thing i can say on that is that usually the red bulbs are quite dim. I tried two brands and was like screw it the lense is red anyways and just put in whites.

supposedly the #168 incandesant bulbs burn slightly brighter than the #194 ones, but either size will work. I wont waste the money on the LEDs if there isn't no significant improvement in the light output
