Well I bought a 2012 around 6 weeks ago and love it. Finally got it shined up and looking good. Runs like new at 140k miles.

Then a couple of days ago I picked up a 2008 Off Road with 83k miles. It runs and drives excellent but does ride a little rougher than the 2012 SR5. I know the difference is the OR suspension with the 16" AT tires.

So now I guess I will clean up the 2008 and start with some mods on it. I just put Clazzios, with the fold flat seat, in the 2012 but the 2008 has the Sport seats. So I guess I will order new Clazzios for this one now. The wheels are starting to peel so I am probably going to put the same style 17" 4runner wheels and street tires, like on my 2012, on the 2008 for comfort. Son wants to buy my 2012 but I was REALLY hoping he would buy the 2008. Oh well I am happy either way. BlueBook is basically identical and I paid the same $14k for each one. Cannot complain.

 

Every time I swear I’m done spending money on it I find something else I want.. Ordered an OEM bed mat to go with the tonneau but lately it’s front tints I’m wanting

 

Well my wife talked me into selling my beloved 2012 Pyrite Mica access cab to my son, who desperately needs a good vehicle, leaving me with the 2008 Speedway Blue. The blue does have super low miles and runs as new. The problem is (1) not crazy about the color and (2) the hood and roof have lost the clear coat. The 83k miles makes it a keeper. So this week will get paint/wrap quotes for the hood and roof. May get quotes on a full paint job. Then I will put the mod list to work. When driving it I do seem to forget the year, color and paint issues.

Bought back in January of last year with around 73K miles on it. Now has 89K miles and I've loved every minute of it.
