Thats an awesome find man! Looks great! The aluminum sure helps with weight to some degree (maybe 20-30 pounds) but for $400 thats rad!

I think quickfists might be a good start since you are dealing with aluminum (harder to weld and/or find a willing welder) but if you go that route be cautious about how you mount em and where. I had a buddy with quickfists on the outside of his rack system and he was constantly finding issues with tree branches loosening them and his shovel falling off. I've got mine on the inside. I've also seen military grade quick fist type clamps that would be sweet and way stronger, especially for the hi-lift... though I've never been able to find em online. If anyone knows what i'm talking about please share!

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
Nice score, how far above the bed rails is the top of the rack? That looks like a good height trade off between keeping the tent a little lower but still having some visibility out the back window.

Which rack system is this? Really like how you can still use the tonneau cover with it for extra storage. Thanks.

Its a little over a foot off the bed rails. About 6 inches lower than the roof. I can still see through my rear view very well. I think I have seen a pelfreybilt rack that looks identical to this, but the guy I bought it from said it was made in the bay area.

Thanks! I was thinking mount stuff on the inside as well. I will keep my eye open for the military style clamps. Surplus store possibly?

0810161628b_HDR.jpg 0810161627_HDR.jpg I'm running an All Pro Off-road bed rack with custom ladder rack. All I need to do is take out four 1/2" bolts and the ladder attachment is off. I use the PVC pipe to store my level

Many people get by with just two... Do some research and you'll see what options you got.
