We got it mounted and tested thanks to @6tmo ! She's pretty much dialed, were just going back and forth between leaving it where it's at or lowering it 5/8" closer to the top of the soft topper...What do you all think? These are going to be ready to go in the next couple days, who all is interested??

Hey guys. Any suggestions on shovel/axe mounts? I have an all pro rack and the accessories bar, but I'm not sure what to go with for mounts

Yep, Quickfist is the way to go with several different sizes all reasonable priced from a bunch of Amazon dealers

Love the fact you can bolt a 1up tray direct to those mounts. I was working on a DIY version of that same concept.

Looks like it makes for a wide profile though (comes with the territory). Looks like it adds 8" or so at the tire and 1/2 a handlebar at the top?

 

Side mount bike is the only way to go on the trails with a RTT. I lead a group back to the dollhouse in Utah. One of the Jeeps has a modified Thule t2 hitch mounted bike rack. 2nd day in the bike and rack broke. Lots of paracord kept the rack in place. My bike on the side of my taco had no issues and was very stable over ledges and bumpy sections. Sorry About the pic of a 3rd gen in a 2nd gen rack forum, I’m always looking for ideas.

 

This is what I am designing at the moment. I have a pair of KB Voodoo bed rails and I want to build my bed rack from it. They will be permanently bolted onto the bed structure, keeping the bed rails free for other use. Maybe I'll try to find a tonneau cover that fits inside the rails so cargo can be protected from the weather.

 

Here is my max fab (kbvoodoo) with roofnest tent/awning. Adding the Prinsu rack to the front eventually for a better look.

Anyone know if the Short bed version will fit the long bed. that way my bikes can fit with my yakima tailgate cover?!
