My guess is that it will since I believe it it just physically shorter than the long bed version. IMO the short version would look funny on a long bed- YMMV.

That's what I am curious about... I am almost thinking it might come off either 'stumpy' or pulling a 'Back-to-the-Future' Yota Pickup/1980's look. :)
-Honestly, I just want to be able to still fill up the truck bed with 3-5 bikes over the tailgate, head to whistler, and not have the handlebars running into the sides of the cage. Any photoshop editors out there? :)

I might just get their bed bars for now for their ease of mobility. My sliders come in around the 31'st of Nov. Once I see how well they come out I will jump on the next upgrade :frusty:

Check out our racks! My little brother was running our short bed rack on his long bed truck for the exact reason of fitting his mountain bike. It didn't look as weird as you might think! We have some 12" and 16" versions of the rack in stock right now!

    Some of the things...
I did this and it worked pretty well. I drilled my kb rails and used rivnuts so the rack would be removable. I use an access lite roll up cover and had to space it off the bed rails to get the correct mounting width. If you move forward please post pics of your setup!

I'm about 2 years too late, but I love the way you made this rack. Wondering if you could tell me a bit about the material you used? Thanks!!

Thanks! I actually ending up giving this to my friend and I built my own aluminum camper shell with a pop top. My friend that has this rack, put it on his shortbed after trimming the outside edges off the "feet". We might try to take it a step further and enclose it.
