    Caught this green bass 30 mins before I bought my taco. Weather was really crappy, windy and rainy.

    Estimated 10 lbs and didnt get the length either. It was at my buddies place and he said its alot bigger than the 8 pounder pulled out a couple years ago.

    My grandpa caught one that was 0.5 lbs heavier and the same length later that day...

    We spend Christmas there every year. It can be really hit or miss, but it's really peaceful, quiet, and cheap to stay right on the water. Gets us out of the city and on the water!

    ETA: It's got some great Crappie holes. My uncle caught these the same year.

    Sounds nice. This will be my 4th year coming down. I always say I'm going to do some bass fishing, but get caught up in the saltwater.
