I can fold it out of the way for big/tall items, I can remove it entirely in 10 minutes by myself, it's a small portion of the price of a cap (paid $465 shipped)

    http://www.softopper.com/Best_Truck_Cap_Rack-details.aspx

Looking at the photo's it looks like it will work fine with the Bestop. Its pricey.

Thanks for posting that link, that is the one I was thinking of I figured it would work for the bestop. It damn sure is pricey I think you could make several other racks out there work with a few mods to them. As long as they sit to the exterior of the bed rails and are flat on the bed rail itself.

Well it just seems like the canvas itself is floppy, the bars are as far as they go though, I'll Post some pics when I get a chance

    As needed, and some not.
I'm looking for anyone that has built a custom rack to go over the softop. I'm going to take one of those lumber racks and modify it.

Cool, it that is cheaper and you are happy with the turn out that is awesome. Make sure you check the rack made for the softopper. Its pricey but looks well made.....depending on the weight you need it to support.

Hopefully not a dumb question but would this top(folded down of course) get in the way of strapping a dirtbike down? Really like the top but need to carry my 2 wheels around somehow

I don't use anything but soap when I wash my truck. I had one for 2 years on my 07, an the one on my 92 is still in great shape.
