I took mine out and sprayed everything with rubber undercoat. Really want a better mount for the front RR's so I don't have to mount the bumper brace on top of the bracket.I need to get rid of that sway bay anyways but that still leaves me with the bracket behind the brace.

I like those tail lights in the first pic. Do you know where or how he got those bad boys?

Plus those bumpers look bad ass to the max. I’m gunna put an order down for a standard rear soon.

That area is called whiskey dick. You want to visit that area early spring, its so overgrown I would worry about starting a fire once things dried out. Its closed in the winter time they feed the elk there. Also you'll get major pin stripping. Here's a video driving in some of it. https://www.instagram.com/p/BUDaje0FtNF/?taken-by=pnw.taco

For the HC Rear do you guys re-locate the exhaust? I'm not sure in MA if I can legally dump it behind the axle like some people do. Thinking of trying to run it out trough the side panel before the rear wheels. Other suggestions? Just leave it and be prepared to cut it off if I pancake it on a rock?

There no difference between dumping out the side or over the axle, its all still post muffler. Save some money and cut it high above the axle.

Emailed Billy Thursday night, he called me the next day. Super easy to talk to, answered all my questions. Ordered my hybrid! Now the waiting begins...in the meantime, what do you guys suggest for suspension? I have a 3/2 leveling kit that is just spacers up front and aal in the rear. I'm thinking with new bumper and winch I might need to upgrade in order to support the weight.

A little of this and a little of that
I have Billy's HC rear and for the first year and a half I didn't touch the exhaust (Borla cat back). This year, it was chopped right after the axle and the cops hasn't bothered me yet. I got an inspection with no problems too. I guess it all depends on who does your inspection.

    Lol, yes sir.
I have not hooked anything up to it yet.

But, it looks well built and should do the job.

Dude, do me a huge. Can you take a pic of it as mounted showing access to the pin location? I can't quite see it, and it looks like it might be pretty awkward to access.

Also, do you have a spare underneath? If so, can you measure clearance between the back of the receiver and the tire, and tell me what size tire. Please. Sir.

And extra points for saying fuck you to that wicker ottoman.

HAHA!!! Yeah, everybody was giving me grief about that.

I had some leftover white spray and hit it with a couple coats before the wife got home.

Never knew anything about it or ever asked about it at all

Yeah man. No problem at all!!

I've got a 285/70/17 stuffed under there in the stock location

It does in fact get pretty damn close to the back of the receiver.

Will get ya some pics here in a sec
I could have sworn you were already running an aftermarket rear...

Awesome. Your tire is a bit bigger than my Cooper 265/75/16, which is just a hair under 32 (31 13/16). Allegedly about 1 inch difference according to the generic calculator. So that could net me a 1/2 inch more space than whatever you are getting between tire and receiver.

I imagine you did the BFH mod to your tire carrier, right?

Oh yeah, couple blows with it and it's snug as a bug.

After looking at it man, the tire is juuuuuuuuuuust about touching the back of the receiver.

It was super hard to get a pic up in there with the tire in the way....

I bet. This is the thing. I like to drop our little on-road teardrop at camp and do day trips offroad. I pull the ball hitch and install my recover shackle. I'd prefer that to not be a PITA with lots of F-bombs in front of the family.

WRT another bumper....I am considering buying Don's used Relentless for a good price, and "shipping" would only cost a 6-pack. It has good clearance (he dropped by and we actually lifted my spare under his truck) and it is in decent shape, but I have always coveted the Brute Force and Billy's design, which I think is tighter and stronger in several ways. And I'd rather spec my own light cutouts, and the 7-pin location on the Brute force is far better.

I'll need to shit or get off the pot with Don here pretty soon, because his new Relentless HC is coming right about now. If I don't take it, he has another buyer lined up, and I don't want to dick him around when he asks.
