Really messed up the other ride.
Can you imagine without the BF bumper?

Take a close look at the top edge of the front of the bed where it meets the cab beneath the rear glass. If there was any flex in the frame, that's where it would show itself. Also take a look at the body gap between the bed and cab and as long as it's an even width top to bottom on both sides, then I'd say you're golden.

I had a buddy that was rear ended with his steel rear bumper and the bed made contact with the back of the cab beneath the glass and left a small dent. After the accident, it looked fine until he started looking really close at the gaps and noticed the dent.
I'm not telling you this to scare you, just giving you a heads up on what to check for. Hopefully yours is OK if the impact wasn't too hard.

Thanks, you're not scaring me at all. It's the reality, I'll get a flashlight and check it out.

Well it's definitely a larger gap. I distinctly remember looking at this area on my lunch and there was no gap. You can see from the pic where the wire harness was touching the cab and wore the paint down. :(:(

Awesome man. I talked to Billy last night and just waiting on the invoice now. I literally have 2 jackstands and hand tools where I am renting currently lol.

Once I get the bumpers on, Ill be ordering the gusseted spindles and new wheel bearings. Then ill crack open my KING suspension and throw that on as well ;) Gonna be a new truck soon!

Have you had an opportunity to take your truck to a shop and get the frame checked out? Also, guessing since the accident will be deemed not your fault, I wouldn't bother attempting to salvage the bumper. Insurance should provide you with a replacement at no cost to you, if so take advantage of it and get a new bumper.

Getting rear ended myself was what prompted my purchase of a Bruteforce rear bumper, so I guess it's comforting to see how well it held up to what appears to be a decent impact. Fingers crossed things work out for you.

Will do man! Just paid the first invoice.

8-10 weeks. So in the meantime I may go get my wheels/tires mounted and new TPMS sensors flashed for my truck

I have a question for those of you that have a dual swing out. Where are you guys putting your backup camera? (If you have one)

I used permanent hold double sided tape to hold it. And thre on a zip-tie to help hold it and the wires. Works great. No issues. Just have to adjust it properly.

Was originally planning on getting just the bumper with the spindles welded on, but just texted Billy and now I'm getting the tire side gate (still don't know how I want the other swingout to be configured so I'll be doing that at a later time). Once you're able to get a hold of him, he's a really good guys to deal with. This is probably the most exciting thing I've done to my truck so far.

Now I'm not too sure if I should drive up from LA to pick up the bumper or just get it shipped.
