Has anyone with the High clearance rear and bed side protector tried putting on Bushwacker flares on their truck?

 

My apologies for asking, but I've viewed 1/2 the pages in this thread from newest to last year, and haven't seen what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have any pictures of a FRONT BFF bumper on a 2016+ Tacoma? Their web site doesn't have any pictures.

Installed this morning. There was hardware included for the licence plate frame and trailer wiring, but none for the licence plate lights (that or I did something stupid and misplaced them, which is entirely possible). I am going to need to paint the tail pipe up to my stainless tip. Fit is quite good, a bit more of a gap on the drivers side, but nothing I can't live with. going to have to leave the shackles on for a few days to see how I like them on there.

It looks good. I'll keep them in mind when I'm ready to seriously look. Didnt see options for a dual swing out but I'll probably end up going single swing out due to availability.

 

He does offer dual swingout. Just call him and he will give you the quote. Many guys have the dual

 

Thanks, I actually saw a 3rd gen with a dual setup. I will call when I decide it's time for a bumper.

 

There shouldn't be any new hardware for the license plate lights, just swap everything over from the original bumper.

 

The small sheet metal screws had no bite when I tried to screw them back in. I went to the hardware store and came home with a pack of bolts/nuts/washers that fit through the original hole in the plastic holder.

 

From what I remember, those small screws screw into a square plastic bushing that you will need to transfer over... not touch any metal of the bumper.

Finally got the install done with Billy at his shop. Can't speak highly enough of him..very humble and down to earth dude. His work and time is well worth every penny spent. His work speaks for itself!

Front: Plate bumper w/ headlight protection hoops. Dual light pod cut outs. 20" light bar cut out.
Other: superwinch 9500 SR, (2) 3/4" D Rings

Rear: HC bumper with swing out tire carrier and dual gas can mount.

 

Nice! Yeah, Billy was a stand up guy for sure! Eventually I'll post pictures of my bumper, just got to get the rig freshened up for the 'Gram!

 

For sure! I think posting pics up in this thread helps those who are like me trying to keep their sanity while waiting for their orders to ship or be ready lol He mentioned to me yesterday his wait time right now is about 12 weeks
