we tried the 255'85/16's onmy truck last weekend and i was suprised as hell that little 2.7 handled them like a champ. felt no power difference at all possibly even better between them and the steel wheels with 10-ply 245's. i f i could get somebody to buy my old wheels i'd get me a set but i need the size you have

Cruising at 65-70 is tough... Never wants to maintain speed without being around 2800-3200 RPMs.

Is the $21.96 per tire for the Tread Depot Road Hazard Protection worth it? Has anyone had a tire replaced hassle free with this? I think its a good piece of mind, but with 5 tires and another $125 in "warranty" I am just curious

Yes. I bought 4 hankooks for our Honda Accord a few years back. One blew out. I called Discount tire up and explained what happened. Discount tire had none in stock. They told me to buy one wherever i could and send them the receipt. I got reimbursed for the full cost of the replacement tire which was even more than their advertised price

So I dropped the truck off at Firestone this morning for an Alignment. Just got the call that its done. They said they got it as best as they could, but the right front tire is causing the pull and is defective. Lol. They recommend I talk to Discount. Guess these tires do have issues huh?

    Any thoughts or recommendations?

Just picked up the truck. It drives great actually... And.. After maybe a year or more.. My steering wheel is finally straight again. Lol let some air out of the tires too, down to 33 all around now. Drives and feels good. Might not even bother with it now.

Firestone is defective... The tire rolls and doesn't wobble right? Then its not defective

Lol. Thats the truth.. If it wasn't for their lifetime alignment.. I would go elsewhere. Whatever they did this time around (their quality is hit and miss) worked. So not complaining or touching anything. Lol

The firestone by my house is awesome. Top notch work and they stayed late to finish my truck so I could have it same day

Figured it was about time I started contributing... Long time gawker and reader. Built a few trucks up with TW and yotatech support over the years.

Had my Maxx's up in the Cascades on some pretty soupy and steep trails. They did awesome, getting me out of some spots that I figured I would have to use my winch based on past experuwith BFG AT's.
