O yea, I backed off and had to change my line a little. It was a bit close for comfort.

I'm driving about 25 miles to get my tires installed this afternoon. I'll note my MPG coming and going and see if there's a significant difference

Both of these were mostly interstate at 70-75mph

26.9 miles on the stock Goodyears: 21.3mpg

34.3 miles on the Coopers: 18.6mpg

Thats about what i figured going to a nearly two inch taller tire that is significantly heavier but the truck only has 200 miles on the clock. I'll be interested to see where it settles once everything breaks in properly.

Did you calculate for the larger diameter being less rotations therefore your odometer would be less than what you actually traveled?

Are the Coopers 265/75 or 255/85?

How did they do in the snow? Haven't had a decent snow in Colorado to try them out in yet.

Honestly they did amazing. There were 6 of us and we spent over 6 hours on the trails that day. I'd say all in all we had to do 30-40 recoveries - mostly with Treds. But sometimes straps had to be brought out.

I don't like tootin' my own horn, but I got stuck once, maybe twice. And there were times were I should have been stuck, but I just feathered the throttle and the Coop's just pulled me right out. While another guy in the group has brand new 285 Duratrac's, and he was getting stuck constantly. Constantly. I know Duratrac's are good tires, so I almost want to chalk it up to 255 vs 285. We were all aired down.

The last guy in the group had a very capable Cherokee, and he had 32" St Maxx's, and I don't think he got stuck once. A lot of that was due to him being in 6th position, but also he was probably the most experienced of all of us. He was even going off the tracks for funsies, trying to get stuck, because he was getting so bored.

The 4th in the pack had 31" Duratracs at half-life, and he got stuck a fair amount too. Probably too much for being in 4th position. I think part of his problem was he had no weight in the bed. But, still, Duratracs didn't do so hot that day.

The guy leading the pack had 33x10.5R15 KM2's, and he dominated. He got stuck a decent amount, but he was also breaking the trail. Considering, I think his tires did awesome.

I bitch a lot about these tires' road manners and driveability, but I have to say, I've had them in a lot of shit this past year and they have yet to let me down. I'm almost at the point where I'm 255's 4 lyfe.

265/75 and I pulled those numbers straight off the dash readout when you shut off the truck

Yep, I've had the 255/80/17 on now for a week and after a spot on alignment still pulls to the right, its annoying but manageable.

I ended up warrantying the tires last year for some Nitto Terra Grappler G2's. No more pull. Granted they don't have the awesome lugs that the Coopers do, but I'm so much happier.

I love my Maxx's. Slight pull to the right but livable.

So, one of the first things I asked the guy in the Jeep was, 'do you pull to the right at all?'. He kinda laughed and said he's never noticed anything. Then when we traveled on the road for awhile, he paid attention to it, and found he has zero pull.

I do pull to the right myself, but it's slight. I find a lot depends on the road itself. Like, sometimes (rarely) I'll even pull to the left. That's always a nice change lol.

Well wider tires are going to fallow the grooves in the road more definitely. But I've cross rotated and it's still the same, I'm hoping once they wear a little, it won't be noticeable at all. I do my own alignments,so I know it's not that. But overall I still like them.

Would running them with a pull wear them out faster?
