Do you guys think running 29psi front and 32 psi rear with these tires in a 285/75/16 is too low air pressure? Seems to ride extremely smooth with it. Gonna chalk test them though to be sure

    Working on it.
I honestly can't say for sure if it is too low. I would do the chalk test to see if you are wearing the shoulders at that pressure. What I do find odd though is the lower front vs rear pressure. Typically due to the weight distribution of the truck and most vehicles for that matter the front pressures tend to be a couple psi higher than the rears for even wear. Perhaps one of the wheel gurus may have a more thorough explanation but your current set up seems a bit out of balance from my understanding.

I run at 35. Try that and see how you like it. But take Rackness's suggestion into consideration too.

These tires took alotta abuse and held up great running top of the world in Moab. Been running the tires on the road at 38psi all around, from trail heads into gravel roads 30psi, and once at obstacles 18psi in the front and 24psi in the rear. Didn't air down lower due to current overload weight of camp gear.

I'm tires are getting tore up and chunked out due to me running studs year round.

Looking for something I can swap out for a summer tire.

    Still a great tire though.

I run at 31 on all 4 all the time. I started at 40 and the truck floated all over the place. Went down to 35 and eventually found the sweet spot for my truck at 31.

I run my 285/70/17s at 32 in the front and 30 in the rear give or take. Didn't do the chalk test, I just went off feel and that's where it rides the best.

Thanks for the inputs guys. Gonna chalk test these things to see where they really should be as soon as it stops raining here in AK
