Here are a couple pics with stock suspension

After being lifted on 6112s on clip 6/5 and 5160s with RXT springs on option one

Since this pic I've changed to 295/70/17 Ridge Grapplers. Those required lots of cutting and heat gunning.
    Hope that helps

I just had these put on the other day and noticed a slight but constant pull to the right and felt like I was driving on ice....the shop had them at 55psi.

They're at 36 psi cold now, with minimal local driving they get to 40/38, feel better but the slight pull is annoying especially when the wranglers were totally neutral.
For me the jury is still out, I love the way they look and also having some extra ground clearance but wondering if the pull goes away or if is it from defective/blemished tires?

I run mine at 36, there is a slight pull to the right. It's minor, but highly annoying.

It seems this is a known issue with these tires, especially the skinny variants. According to the poll at the top, approximately 28-29% of people that answered the poll said the MAXX pulls to the right. It probably has something to do with the tread pattern design.

That being said, I drove with 285/70R17 MAXXs for 7000 miles and I never noticed them pulling to the right.

Thinking of getting MAXX’s in 285/70/17...did you end up switching after 7000?

They are great tires off-road and super tough. They are also very heavy. Mine were 62 pounds each. At the time, I was commuting on a concrete highway with separations/expansion joints in the concrete and these tires were so stiff it was driving me crazy. I messed with different tire pressures but I decided I just didn’t want to live with them when I knew I could get a Load C in a different tire.
I made the switch to a 265/70R17 KO2 (C) at 46 pounds and it was a really nice change on my commute. I will be going to 285/70R17 KO2 (C) next time as these are too small for my lift. The 265/70 looks kinda goofy to me.

Is there a settings to change colors of the tire pressures in the dashboard? I like how yours stand out in orange background.

I'm not sure if that part is always that color or if it's related to the highlight color that you choose in the entune setup settings.
The yellow works best for me.

I'm hoping these things are as good as most everyone here claims they are. I just ordered 60 of them for my off-road LE vehicle fleet.

I usually put my ST MAXX on a couple weeks before spring changeover to avoid the waits when we have mild weather. It has decided to snow the past couple days so I can report on their snow capabilities in what little snow they've seen. Soft sugary snow is fine and they have decent traction when there's only a bit on the road - with more snow I think they would do quite well. Wet snow is a nightmare though - next to no traction. Once the wet snow melts to slush they start to shine again. They clear the slush really well and bite to the ground below instead of riding on top which is to be expected with large grooves and moderate siping. Over all they performed as well as a hybrid tire could possibly perform under less than favourable, cold-ish conditions. I'm definitely not making a switch to ATs for my winter set any time soon though lol.

When my Chief asked me to order three sets of tires for every rig in my fleet, it didn't seem that unreasonable an amount at the time. Still have half a pallet to unload and transport.

So I read back on page 246 some members talking about using cross caster to get the vehicle to drive straight. I had to dial in quite a difference in caster in order to get rid of the persistent drift to the right. My camber and toe in are perfect. Should I be concerned with any tire wear or other issues with too much cross caster?

I don’t have numbers as I’m DIY aligning, but I’ve got it driving really straight. Now to trim some more as my right side is rubbing again.

Trailer tires need to be trailer rated. Separate designation for that.

No, not a regulatory requirement issue (though you'ld have to check into that) Its an engineering difference. Trailer tires are built differently. "ST" designation, designed with much stiffer side walls, greater load capacity, larger diameter cord elements, built to dissipate heat better.

Curious on thoughts about Tire pressure, I chalk tested my 285/75/16 E load Tires and the Chalk kept indicating me to go lower than I was at, but i ended up Settling on 31 Front, 28 Rear cold. I didn't want to really go any lower than that on pavement. Wondering what i should bump my rears up to when towing my 4,000LB trailer maybe 32~33?

I was also curious about what pressures to run. At the tire store, they set them to 41 psi and it honestly rides a little bit like a dump truck. Kinda regretting getting the E-rated tires, but I'll probably get used to it.
