What the cheapest people are getting for a 255/85 16? Getting a set mounted on some black rhinos Saturday but just curious what everyone is paying? Can not wait to get em! They will be my second set.

I got 60k miles out of my 295/70r17s and went with a taller Nitto Ridge grappler this time around that ended up being about 1.5lbs lighter.

Mine were tough as nails, but i wont be purchasing again just due to the prices now

255/80/17 on SCS f5. Only a little bit of sidewall to work with but I'm happy with the fit. No rubbing at all and they definitely pull to the right.

Getting these this week (255/85/16). Any issues with fitting in the spare tire mount?

Was dead set on these tires (255/85/16) for my 2022, but this thread screams they pull to the right no matter what. First I’m hearing of this on TW. Welp.

I have the same size. I was able to fit it but only after cutting the tailpipe short and hammering back the two posts that align the tire when seated.

Great tires, any change in mpg from the 255 to the 285? What are you getting ?

Still digging them, very tough carcass and they're wearing really well especially considering the alignment issues I used to have, everything has been corrected and now the truck barely barely pulls to the right if I'm to the right side of the road crown. A big part of my pulling issues was corrected with getting Archive Garage Hammer Hangers.

I have a set of 5 and do somewhat regularly rotations quite happy with the wear.

Still love their performance, could be a little more grippy in the rain that would be about my only complaint.

    Probably about 50-60% tread left.

Will probably replace when they get to 30% not sure yet if I want to do another set or try something else since Cooper's acquisition by Good Year though, I suspect more issues like @Maticuno 's with B̶a̶d̶Goodyear overseeing production.

I know they will fit, but the pulling to the right is what scares me.

Sorry about that, I quoted the wrong post….meant to quote @ColoTexan09

The spare should fit just fine. Some people had to wiggle in up a bit more than others.

Damn this looks so good. I really wanted to go the 255/85/16 route the ST Maxx's but the price for them these days really make my butthole pucker. I might end up going the 285 route :(

Thanks! My second set in this size. Loving em again but yea the price point sucks these days. Discount Tire helped get the lowest price I could find at 290 a piece tho.

Thinking about getting these for my next set, but in 255 85 16. Currently running Wildpeaks in 265 75 16.
Any issues with rubbing? How much miles do you have on your set so far?

Not sure if your asking me or not but I’ll chime in anyway lol. No rubbing for me but I have ~3” of lift and adjustable UCAs so my caster is pretty high. I didn’t rub on my first Gen either on this size, no adjustable uppers on that one but ~2.5” lift.
