Damn no shit! Looks like i was had. I just looked at my reciept, i payed $650. But nevertheless. That is interesting, I wonder how they ended up at that tire shop. So i guess im not supposed to be driving on them..not worried about that..

Did some wheeling today with chux and here to say that the coopers climbed an ice/snow/mud hill on that 4 other trucks couldn't. Definitely made my mind up on what tires I'll be going with next.

:D Yea wouldn't keep me from using them as well...enjoy them I love mine, they have been working very well for me this winter, I think the siping I added to them has helped ESP when braking... They grip the snow like claws when braking hard... Moves slush and snow very well.

    Thanks dude!

Went wheeling yesterday and at the first spot had 4 trucks with 4 different tires and the Cooper Maxxs were the only ones to make it up the snowy hill climb :burnrubber::mudding::woot:

Can you point me to some proof on this? I've bought blems from all brands for 35 years of tire buying for personal vehicles.....including Cooper brands. Link to a DOT article on blemished tire law, maybe?

I have no link on the laws on it, I'm just going off what Cooper does and says why we ship all blems to other countries, Im sure the tires find a way back to the states to be sold... A blem wouldn't keep me from using them either...

I got to this hill climb after He had already made up... and I failed at it miserably... and if the tires are the only fact for which they even out-performed a fully locked (front and rear) truck, I'm very very impress even if I did not get to see it... that's some good rubber!

Were you the 1st one up?

You did the siping yourself? If so, how difficult is it? If not, how much does it cost?

Yea, I'd pick either one, the mickeys have little bit better siping,is all, but I think both are good..haven't seen many reviews on the mickeys. Coppers maybe a little bit less expensive ?
Yes I bought a tire Siper from Amazon for like 60$ just takes time doing all the cuts... But I think it was worth it...

I am now wishing I went with the tall/skinnies. I love my 265/75/16's but I want a little more wheel well "fillage".

Do 285/75/16 maybe? I think tall skinnies don't look good on out super wide second gens. First gens and before and much less wide.

The extra sipes are the reason I was looking at the Mickeys

Do you have a pic of the siped tire?
