No pics basically it's just small slits in the tread lugs, I made a good amount in each tread block, no issues as of yet since doing it either... Other than better grip

Yeah I think with mickeys better siping it will help in winter...But the maxx works fine with out them they move water and grip wet roads great,. And work great in winter conditions as well with out all the extra siping... You will prob pay more as well for the Mickey Thompson brand name ?? Not sure on those prices compared to coopers ?

I agree, but I'm looking for a bit taller tire for function, not just appearance. (although I'd like to fill the wheelwell just a tad) I had 285's on my '09 and while they looked good, I had to cut and hack too much for my liking. Down the road I'll see about a cab mount chop, but I'd rather run 33's without it.

I have 16x8's with 4.5 BS so they should accommodate the 285's.

I was referring the comment regarding tall/skinnies look weird on 2nd gens...

...so get more of a negative offset so the tall/skinnies are pushed out more

Haha, gotcha... Yeah I think the tall/skinnies look great as long as they are flush with the fender.

Pushing them out farther kinda defeats the advantage of them being able to tuck behind the fenders under compression and creates rubbing issues

Does anyone know if they make these in 265/75/16 with black letters? Or can the white letters be mounted inward?

Just tell the shop to mount them inwards.

Really thinking of getting these in the 255/85/16's or 17's. I have the Hankook ATM's right now and they are great, but I've always wanted to try the tall skinnies. I'm sure it's been said, but I'm not going through 34 pages, what kind of mileage do you think you'll get out of them?
