I agree. Would you mind taking a few close up photos? I am thinking of flipping the cutter upside down to double the sipes

It's hard to see the slits let alone get it to show up on camera LOL, but I'll give it a shot, and take a pic, over time the slipes I made will open up and work...

Has anyone weighed these once they get them? I hear that they run big and weigh a lot more than advertised. Some dude on a jeep forum said the 265/75/16 really weighed lower 60's instead of the 54 lbs advertised. When your set arrives Jareds Toyota, can you weigh them?

SOS Front Bumper, SOS Sliders, SOS skids, ARB Rear Air Locker, OME Lift (885x Coils, Nitro Charger Shocks, Dakar Leafs), LR UCAs, Leer Shell, OKLED 30" light bar, Wet Okle Seat covers, etc, etc
I was looking treaddepot.com as well as other places at the S/T Maxx tires. The 255/75R17 (6 ply listed at 53lbs) shows to be 2lbs heavier than the 255/80RR17 (10 ply listed at 51lbs). The 255/75R17 is a smaller tire and has 4 less plys, so I was confused why it would be heavier.

I sent an Email to Cooper and my email got forwarded around until someone finally responded. They responded with "Good Questions". "Please call 800-854-6288". I ended up calling them and they said it looks like the numbers were published wrong.

The LT255/75R17 is actually 54Lbs and the LT255/80R17 is actually 58Lbs.

Sounds like cooper isn't advertising correct weights. Not sure if that is intentional or not.

My dad ran them on his 1 ton cummins. Great in the snow and mud. I'm looking forward to see how they run on a much lighter truck

Same thing when I ordered mine, I thought theya were going to be 51lbs. Was looking forward to a little less rotational weight.
