No, I have 3” Toytec lift with 33s
I know, hated the harsh ride from day 1. Added jba’s, rides better, have rxt leak packs coming this week. Was thinking replacing 5100s with 5125s

    Wish I knew this then.
And why am I like the only one.
Feels same as when when I lifted it. All I read was how awesome the 5100 coil overs where,
Think I shattered 3 teeth and herniated 2 disc's in the 1st week!

I have pro ssc3 fogs mounted in an aftermarket bumper with 2.5" of lift. Yes the upper cutoff is diffuse but I had no issue getting them pointed low enough not to bother oncoming traffic.

Also ssc3 pro 4k driving lens behind the grill.

With the debate in the other thread, some new pictures. 25 feet from the wall.

I have H9 low beams, SSC3 Pro Fogs (selective yellow 4K), Aux highbeam SSC3 Pro mounted behind the grill (4K driving lens). Truck is lifted 2.5" front (OME886), 3" rear (DakarHD + airbags). Aftermarket bumpers and skid plates.

What does that look like on the road? Stop sign is 250 metres away.

And because I can, Low beam, fogs and Aux high beams - for off road use where long range vision is hampered by twisty tree lined roads.

Unfortunately not, but it does give a real world idea of what you can and can't see, though the low beam and fogs against the wall is much more yellow in person.

I might have to borrow that idea of yours with those ditch lights. I never thought of using the side mounting bolt. Great idea!

I did have some trouble with the factory bolt on the SS3 not being long enough to bite, so I had to go find a new one just 2-3mm longer but it's solid!

Keep in mind having it sideways like this only really works with the flood lens, everything else needs to be horizontal if I'm not mistaken or you'll end up with a vertical beam haha!

I didn't think about that, but yeah, that makes sense. Thanks for the heads up! Does it fill in nice?

We're loving this setup! It's definitely created some movement online and inspiration.

Most users rock our SSC1 Ditch Light Hack but this SSC2 setup is one of a kind!

If users haven't seen our SSC1 Ditch Light Hack, I've provided some images below.

That's true, but not ideal for this side lighting scenario I don't think.

    @Diode Dynamics

So if I may ask you guys some questions,
I have the 1" backup lights, probably brighter version (at least from what was available at the time)

Looks like at some point recently, a new model came out. C1R, better than the old ones I have, which are red backlight / white ON
With C1R able to act as a brake (high output) and even strobe

I installed the regular 1" with supplied harness in the kit.
What would be involved in converting to the new C1R with brake functionality, so the whole back of the truck is even (anything red lights more red during braking)? vs. mismatched

Is it a matter of just slapping in new C1R's?

What I have is the 2/pair in corner pockets of WarFab Phantom HC rear
In fact, this thing looks even cooler to put a 3rd in the hitch hole that I don't use often
    to light up more area.
    Unless that is overkill...

I am guessing they might not be reverse-compatible to swap, as the old ones are 3-wire

Also, is the 3-way switch supposed to be able to toggle on, independently? I would think so. Did I install incorrectly or something?

I believe for mine, 1 point of the switch is full function (red backlit, white in reverse) but the rest generally turn it off
Was hoping there would be a click that could turn it on, to have white light on it's own; without having to place truck in reverse. Such as at a campsite

Which beam pattern is that? Very impressive.

I can answer one of your questions. I recently installed a set of backlit SSC1's on my cousin's Austin-Healey 3000 replica as backup lights to replace the (pathetic) original equipment incandescent units. (And of course, they came from Hotshot Offroad!) The primary goal was to improve his reverse lighting. Since we had the option of a backlight, we selected red and hooked that feature up to the brake lights.

The flood pattern white backup lights are absolutely awesome. There's no way a light this small should put out that much light. The red backlights are exactly what they're advertised as - cosmetic. Said another way, they're cute, but not truly effective enough for real brake lights.

I mean. They could be brake lights. If it was the C1R, which did not exist at the time.
Though cosmetic is not horrible; some other vehicles have a lower cosmetic red lit, such as I believe Ford Raptor, Ranger, etc.
and hey, the more lights the better, for people to look and hopefully not crash into it

Might still look good to have regular pods at the corners, and C1R at the tow port
