I forgot about this thread... Currently have ss3 pro fogs and ssc1 sport flush mounts I modified to act as DRL. Still have my ss3 white pros I'd like to shove somewhere.20220222_134842.jpg

What lens do you have on the SSc1 pods?

I put the fog lens on them. Not enough output to be a fog light but I don't want to blind anyone.

I love my SS3 pros . They’re excellent. I really want to do the anytime fog mod. They kick ass . I’ll post a pic as soon as I can

Do you have any night output shots (on a wall or something) of the SSC1?? I've been very curious to see how well they light up the road, thinking about them for one of my motorcycles and possibly additional reverse lights on one of our vehicles.

Not great quality but here you go. This is at approximately 22ft from the wall. I still may aim the ssc1s up a bit to be in line with the fogs, haven't decided yet.

    SSC1 only

@BudFriendguy here is the link to the video I was talking about
Thank you very much!!! That's not bad at all! By no means as powerful as the SS3's, but a pretty good amount of light for how small they are! I've got the SSC2 Pro Fog's on one motorcycle and I was really surprised how bright they are! Those SSC1's look like they'd be great for my dirt bike or as additional reverse lights.

Has anyone fitted a set of SS3’s behind the lower grille on a 3rd gen? Wondering how well they fit there. Already have a set of the yellow Pro’s mounted in the OEM fogs, but want to add white driving pods to the lower grille if they’ll fit.

The difference between fogs turned on, and back-lit off position!

Absolutely love my fogs....but I'm hoping someone can help me wire up the backlight. I'm trying to tap into the DRL circuit to have the backlight come on during the day. Then fogs auto switch on with the headlights at night. Any guidance on that?

I tapped both fogs into the daylight running light on the drivers side, purple wire!

Yes, don't be one of those that run their fogs whenever their lights are on.

What did you tap into? I’m pretty new to this and seems like tapping into the DRL is an option.

Good morning folks! Can’t tell y’all how much these lights have been a help to me on my trips to the Texas Gulf coast delivering freight to post offices! Cuts through the fog like butter with a hot knife! Bought them this past winter and have no regrets! These pictures convinced my brother to get some for his truck as well! I installed the ss3 sport sae fog lights in amber! Wish I could upgrade to the maxes and also get some for my Tacoma but diesel prices are taking most of my income… lol

Sorry for the not so clear pictures.. my phone was on its mount and my truck vibrates with its stiff suspension going down the interstate.. originally it was taken on video put im having a tough time uploading them on here..

I would highly recommend them to any owner operator on the road! They are a must on your rig!
