Do sensors work or you disabled them?

For anyone looking to get the bumper wings, They are pretty nice... there are no visible welds on the outside, its all a smooth look... they look like they were cast.

Now dissent just needs to make a no cut aluminum front slimline bumper.

It has to be a no cut, or limited cut that can go back to stock though. If I ever want to go back to a stock truck, I dont want to have to buy a new bumper cover just for that.

Also, I dont even need a winch, I just want the look of a metal bumper.

Victory has one that you only need to cut a small part off under the chin cover. You can then put the chin cover back on and its back to stock.

The only 2 things keeping me from buying a metal front bumper right now is weight and MN rust... a year of MN winters tends to turn most sliders and bumpers into a red crusty powder pretty fast.

Oops, guess I didn't read the no-cut part. I'm not a fan of the look of the no-cut bumpers. It always looks like a fat lip or something.

I actually want to see one where the wings come up higher than the current model. I like the high winged look of some of the other bumpers, but I love Dissent's style. I'm OK losing that space in the bumper for the lights.

Fluid film the shit out of them all the time. I spray my truck a few times a year. One of the big issues comes from water getting into the cavities (tubes on sliders) then they rust from the inside out and create neat rust stains out of every pin hole.

I have thought about just raptor lining some aftermarket bumpers, but for the cost, I can just get aluminum. The mounts are usually steel, but those can be covered in fluid film and you wont see them.

I see you have a pro also, fluid film the base of your front springs. salt water collects on the lower spring perch. Ive seen a few broken pro springs that were pretty rusty, its hard to say if its owner neglect for not washing them in the winter, or bad design. But, fluid film is a cheap easy preventative fix, just dont get it on the shock piston shaft or the seal, it will attract dirt and dust and then chew up the shaft.

    Interesting about the piston shaft.

I actually have the truck Krown coated every year (nowhere in MN does it but I get out east a couple often enough) so I’m good so far underneath. Steel accessories are still tbd

sorry for the thread jack OP
