When you have time can you get me a shot of the hinges please? I just plowed through your build and couldn't find one with enough detail. Nice work on the truck by the way.

    yep..
A 1" hole is about perfect for a 3/4 shackle which has a 7/8 pin. My pelfreybilt bumper has 1" mounts.

.905 is a pretty typical bore for a shackle mount. That will fit a 3/4" d ring fine (which is . 87 something?). Ive also reached out to smaller ebay sellers to have things custom made. Alot of those guys own small shops and drilling a smaller hole is no biggie for them.

Shouldn’t the shackle pin and clevis hole be the same diameter?

I’m just assuming that should be the case, maybe I’m wrong?:notsure:

If they were the exact same you would need a hammer to get it in.

I drilled out my hitch receiver shackle mount with a 7/8" bit (already had) because I didn't want to buy a 1". I just had to file and sand a little bit and now it fits a 3/4 shackle real nice.

same here! but going the 1.75 with 1/8 tubing route, I like how @Nimble9 's sits well with the softopper. I also like the fact is solid. I've been playing with the concept of integrating my existing tailgate to the tube design.

Looks stock from the outside but has a tire carrier and swings...

I've been toying around with the idea of building my own, a friend of mine has a waterjet and a brake press. My solidworks license expired though. Need to find something else to model in and design something up. Or grab your files :D
