Yeah I just got it back, need to get the fenders painted soon. I'm about tapped out on engine power until I get a good tuner in there and start adding crazy stuff to it...just need to fine tune the suspension some more and fix all the random little shit

Damn guys, you have me chomping at the bit! I just got my first gen2 a few weeks ago and as it sits is a Mall crawler. There are soooo many things I want to do to this truck I can't decide what to do first. Debating good suspension/ lift or performance or armor....so many choices. I think I might need a second job to pay for all my mods too. Any suggestions?

Supercharger is hands down the best mod I've done to my truck. I LOVE the power. Lt is a close second :D

I've been reading the threads on the sc and I've been impressed...all together how much $would you say you got in it for just the sc and accessory parts? @VolcomTacoma I'm either gonna have to save a few months to make big moves or I'm gonna have to nickel and dime it together.

First things first, I need some nerf bars to get my hefty ass in and out of the truck. Lol I'm a big guy at 5' 11" 275lbs.

I bought mine way before they stopped making them, I bought mine for $4300 shipped to my door from Toyota of Dallas like...3 years ago lol. Now a days you're looking at about 5-6k for the Magnuson SC, same one, just no TRD stamp on it. 6k is with the Bully Dog tuner, I'm not sure what they want without it.

That might reach too deep into my pockets for a first upgrade. I was at least leaning towards a good cai and exhaust for a small performance boost, then a fox or king total suspension upgrade. Looking for good long travel for off roading. That might even be a bit much for any near future mod. Has a Toytec 5100 3" now with 285s. Have a bit of trouble with the tire rub clearance...need to do some trimming. Only thing I don't like is it rides unlevel. Front end rides almost 2"+ higher than the rear. I bought it this way unfortunately.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but when I've asked around if I should super charge mine people tell me no cause I have to many miles and that could lead to issues down the road?

How does the Magnuson Sc compare to the URD mkiii stage 1?

I've been told the same thing. I have 143k on my 07 but it was one owner who meticulously took care of it and I bought it in almost brand new condition. I don't feel the mileage on mine is a drop in the bucket with the regular maintenance it receives. That's why I'm still considering a sc. I've heard the early gen2 4.0L had serious issues with oil pump and dropping cylinders on driver side however...this concerns me.

If you stick with just the SC, and don't blast around in boost 24/7 on it, you'll be perfectly fine. If you're buying the SC so you can be a speed demon and race every car on the road with 200k miles already on it, your engine will wear ALOT faster
