last years best was a 12.2lb'r, also its a pain to clean these fish but its worth it in the end for me...plus I give most of it away since we cant eat all of it.

Pretty much go anywhere locally I can do over a weekend, from Sd, Catalina, redondo and anywhere between that... done structures, reefs and open waters checking kelp patties. Depth wise so far 10-30 feet seems to be the good target zone. No tank... one breathe :thumbsup:http://www.freedivinginstructors.com/ they have courses all over the places and if you don't have access to a boat there's charter boats you can sign up for that'll take you out or shore dive

No bull shit, I snagged this 22 inch, "5lb lunker" on my last cast. I already had my canoe on shore. Best of the season for me. Put up a serious fight, jumped out the water at least 3 times. good thing I had just sharpened that hook 15 min before

Spent the weekend at potholes reservoir here in WA, we caught 5 bass, 3 smallies and 2 largemouth. First top water strikes of the season. Gotta love watching big wakes chase your lure then bam! The tug is the drug!

To keep one of those where i'm at they need to be 28 in+ (basically 72cm)
No idea what the regulation is where you are, but you may want to look into it to be sure.
Also, if you did keep it, Stripers are great eating. One of my favorites.

Ya they run through the shubinacadie river with the tide. Just can keep them from may - June or anytime if under 27". Went back out at midnight and one of us caught another big one too

It's over 27" here too (this one was just 25-26) but this month you can't keep any while they spawn

She was bass fishing with a frog and caught a frog. Thats all she tried to catch the rest of the day. When the fish arent biting you gotta go for what is! They are a blast to catch.

And one of my 10 bass I got that day.
