unfortunately the claw broke, so no weight. we were thinking 10-11 lbs. But the best part of the catch was fishing all day on the boat catching 3-4 lbers and ended up catching that one at the dock lol.

Been getting hammered with rain for a couple weeks now. Chomping at the bit to get out. At this rate prime trout season is slipping by. Oh well. Still waiting for the rack anyways so I'm not stuffing full sized kayaks in the bed anymore than I need to.

But a man's gotta fish

 

And we have sun again! Waiting patiently for my prinsu rack to come in (very excited) so i can strap the yaks down good and revisit this slice of heaven

 

So. Anyone have any suggestions for charters / fishing outings in Florida? We will be around the Ft Lauderdale the last week of June. Bringing rods for the freshwater stuff, but I've only been out a handful of times for tarpon and tuna.

 

Everyone in the south hitting the shad spawn hard?

 

We've been getting Bass, but they're all cookie cutters like this morning's.
