    neglect, mostly.
^^^ very cool man. can't wait to see those pics. . .

And I have question for anybody that might have an answer. I was fishing yesterday and I caught a fish me nor a friend could figure out what is was. - it was from a small, contained, freshwater, eastern NC pond. it looked like a brim but with less green and more of a yellowish orange to it. it had that signature brim indicator - those small dark circles on both sides of it. the strange thing though was he had a huge mouth. I mean it literally looked like it had the mouth of a bass. I was easily able to hold it up with my thumb in him to get my hook. opened up it was as big as 50 cent piece on a fish only the size of my hand. In this pond the only thing I've ever caught is crappie, bass and brim over 3 years. I know I should have taken a pic, but maybe one of you know already. Thanks.

This is from the first day. Really choppy and rough seas, nice overall weather but obviously from the catch worth it. 65 lb sword fish,we were 30 miles out and 1500-1800 feet deep.

The 2nd day.... calm seas but ran through a couple of rainstorms. Caught the big dolphin in a severe rain storm it weighs in the 20 lb range. The other fish is called a triple tail.

Haven't posted in here for a while so let's liven it up with some fish from this past winter. Haven't fished much since February due to a new baby so here they are.

Right off the bat.... nice fish you got there. I know I am probably jinxing myself but I am going tomorrow. The last time I fished this lake ...heres the story. ... The guy I was fishing with lost a fish after it broke the line with a 10 inch worm on his line. He shows me where so I cast there I am about 25 feet offshore I tell him "whatever broke your line shouldnt break mine, I have 20 lb braid line on which should catch anyfish in here." Then it happened .... really big strike he starts fighting me.... we both catch a glimpse of the fish.... he turns starts to run some line.... I had my drag set too tight.... pretty much off..... but with 20 lb braid.... nothing should break off.... the fish turns............. he runs some of the drag off then he breaks myline............. Craziest fish I ever lost story.... that I have at least.

After that,,,,,,,,, I just got all my rigs together.... tied on a couple of wire leaders with 30 lb mono..............so I should be ready for anything tomorrow.............. well actually today..... it 6 hours........I am excited.

I was going for bass...... I usually run 20 lb braid. But I had to be ready for the big one......... nothing was biting today. The guy I was fishing with caught 4 and I caught 1 bass the biggest was 2 lb. We had minnows in the water the entire time, with only 1 of the fish hitting the minnow. The pickerel werent even biting. The one that got away is believed to be possibly a northern pike. But its only speculation at this point. I am determined to catch that thing this year.
