    I usually don't start until fall, jointed Depth Raiders work good. When the water gets below 40deg I like non rattling baits. Grandma being #1,8" Bagleys and Triple D's. Rollie and Helen's Musky Shop is a great place for lures. muskyshop.com

    Hopefully headed out to the Mullica River on sunday for some stripers as long as its not to windy. Ill be happy as long as i get something, but a keeper would be nice!

    Heard of black drum or a red drum on the coast? This is a the freshwater version that lives in lakes and rivers. I caught it on a green and white clouser minnow with a 7 wt rod. Almost 9 lbs!

    In Texas on the Lower Colorado River, about 20 minutes east of Austin. Huge fish in that river!

    It was! It took a while to get her in the boat. She was pre-spawn so super fat and angry.

    Yeah it is. I go on a fishing trip every year on the Colorado in Lampasas county. We fish for catfish but sometimes snag a drum.

    One of 22 we caught last year. I think this one was 18lb or so.
