    there was some ponds that I couldnt believe held fish. I caught my biggest in a pond in MD by a shooting range!

    the pond prior to that one, dayum, we slayed em, I caught one jus a little bit longer-n-a whole lot fatter, it was like they aint seen a lure in 5 years, his buddy caught and dropped about a 13 in bluegill back in before he could pull the trigger for the photo, steep edges and thicker then thieves back in there!!!

    If you ever make it to Southern MD theres a gun range called Myrtle grove. And its got a nice pond there. Also by this industrial buildings theres was a pond loaded with bass. If you had a kayak there was some big bass in the back corner. Doesnt look like much but theres some big ones in the back corner away from the road.bass pond.jpg

    Hybrids were biting today. I don't ever target these so I have no idea how big they get. This one was probably 3-4 and looked like her belly was full. It hit a plastic grub I was using to go after white bass.

    they can get decent sized...in Texas we had an 18" minimum to keep up to 5 per day.

    I agree, but ya know that some asshole dumped these fish into our waterways, and boy-howdy how the procreate. they are all up in the lower Potomac, and all over the eastern shore waterways

    if you kill it, or de-gill it, you can dump it, but they are actually very good to eat, and they do wunders for the garden!!!!

    We have them all over river fed lakes and rivers up here in jersey. fish and game has a bounty on them. supposed to kill and bring in to fish and game. most people kill and dump or eat.
