    Yeah, it's a great lake for veg cover. Lots of Bass and Pike. There's a 40" pike in there with a pair of grippers in it's mouth, too. :annoyed::bananadead:

    Heading up to Petoskey this weekend and I'll be fishing round lake and Burt lake but solo on a kayak so pics won't happen. Lots of smalls and lake trout in addition to large and Pike.

    Ha! That is a sweet setup he has. I do plan to get a purpose made fishing kayak and maybe then I'll see about mounting a GoPro. For now, I'm using the in-laws kayak that will be available.

    Going out again with some friends and my wife on friday. Hopefully catch a Cutty. And cross off cutthroat and brooks off of my wifes list. Then the next goal is Golden trout. There is a lake here that had Goldens planted decades ago. One of the most pure strains of Goldens in the us outside of California. 6 mile hike with 4k vert gain. Gonna burn but its going to be so worth it.
