Wow, nice! most states dont let you bow or spearfish that are game fish.

These are a couple months old but figured I’d share anyway

 

Yes, the fish measured 41”, caught south of Boston using live mackerel. New slot limit of 28-35”, so we had to let it go. But caught 3 other keepers at about 28-30”. Liveline the mackerel on a bare hook, shimano baitrunner reels.

 

It’s not a fish but...found them in the ocean

 

These are quite possibly the funnest fish to catch on this planet.

I think so, with maybe some white bass thrown in? Either way, they're all fun!

 

Correct, all hybrid stripped bass with the exception on one Ky spotted bass

as far as fresh was goes, 100% agree. But saltwater (from my experience) jumbo reds and snook are better.

 

Awesome. My dad is from Lexington area and grew up catching hybrids (I think) on lake Cumberland.

 

These were caught on Herrington lake. Very close to Lexington
