I know it's not a fish but I went out last night to fill up my freezer. Took me 45 mins to fill up my 5gal bucket. Came out to be right around 15lbs.

Way to go Ryan...are you throwing from a dock or boat?? I need to get out there myself. Nothing better than fresh river shrimps

 

both. they are running all over so you can either take a boat out and park right off the old shands bridge or you can throw from the dock.

Nice. Nothin quite like catchin a decent brown. They seem to fight a lot harder than the rainbows. At least around here. Never really fished anywhere else, unfortunately.

 

I agree, they do seem to be a little feistier. That one had a little fight in him

How are you eating them dwalden? I used to have a good recipe with breadcrumbs with parmesan cheese with a bachamel sauce essentially. After the trout was fried golden brown just add the sauce... it was good.

Here is a few of me and my boys! I need to find our saltwater fishing pics.

 

I usually grill them. I usually don't skin em or cut the heads off or anything, just gut em. Put some lemon juice, pepper, butter and whatever else you want in em, wrap em in aluminum foil, and throw em on the grill. If you do it right, the skin will peel off when you pull the aluminum foil off. Sometimes I'll butterfly fillet em and throw em in the oven. Lay em out flat on the cookin sheet on their backs and put your spices and whatnot on the meat. Put it in the oven for 5-10 minutes and it's done.

 

Now this is a Fish!!

Mine was 32LB and my dads (who drives a Tundra) was 27.
