Took the kids fishing, they were not disappointed. Wife told me to leave the net in the truck, so I had to drag this guy around the dock to the shore and land him there. Nearly lost a flip flop wading out in the mud.

So I just checked my fluorocarbon leader(30lb) to see if that pike did any damage.... holy crap he chewed the hell out of it. That leader lasted exactly 1 fish, good thing its about 18 inches, so I am just going to cut it down a bit and retie.

Im used to steal leaders where they last much longer, but I am trying to use more fluorocarbon line since the lakes I fish are all crystal clear waters.

    Thank you!

Another surprise out of the same creek we pulled those 1.5-2 lbers last week... Got a ~3 lber today and there was even less water there... We gotta get some rain, but until then, I'll be stocking my ponds with free fish lol. I'm really saving them, cuz that creek will be dry by July 4th at this rate.

It's in the corner of that pic lol, it's low too but it's the one that seems to be losing the least amount of water currently. Gonna be dipping fish out of them things soon if things don't change

Gotcha... This was back in March. This one isn't very big, well none of ours are over an acre, but this one isn't but half as big as are biggest one
