    Anyone know why the fish are losing their verticle line ? Does it have something to do with the weather? I caught 3 bass yesterday none of them had their lines. They almost looked like white bass..... just wondering if anyone here knew. Thanks

    I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    I'd assume you were fishing in muddy or murky water. Largemouth tend to lose those black stripes when they are in water like this.

    It wasnt that much different then the water has been all year. A little more murky I guess but I can still see almost to the bottom in 4' of water.

    hell yeah, Cobia taste awsome, its almost consider a prize fish because they are not around all year and the season is short, You can cook cobia anyway you want....because it is an excellent tasting fish. I like to grill it with butter and a slice of lemon.....with and without seasoning. If I am cooking up a bunch I will use my turkey cooker (peanut oil) and simply coat each fillet with some House-Autry seafood breading mix and throw them in the hot oil for a very short period of time. o yeah....... One more tip - make certain you have removed the skin and cut out the blood line as much as possible to get the best flavor.
