    Amazing! Especially when fresh. Its a little steak-y but is great if you cube it and grill with some teriyaki or soy

    Chunkier white steaks but when cooked perfect it still flakes away like a normal fillet

    You're going to laugh, but what's been working best is........ Persistence. All these smallmouth that I have caught this year have all been caught sight fishing with anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes being spent on the fish casting over and over and changing baits repeatedly until finally they decide to eat it. Quite a few times they even had it in their mouth and I set the hook and somehow they didn't get hooked.

    I'm going to be honest with you, I'm not sure how to tell the difference even though I feel like I should know the difference by now. And I definitely think there were some beds in the area

    They're fat (like females are right before they lay eggs) but them picking it up and moving seems like males.
    But.....:notsure:
