my grandson gave me a beat down - first time he’s caught the most and biggest. The torch is being passed; GOOD for him!!!!

Thanks, he’s turned into a heck of an angler, but the older he gets, the harder it is for me to get some of his time…teenagers have friends, sports, etc, so i really cherish these times!

Edit: all from yesterday afternoon, was also a jack that already met the fillet knife

 

I swear I’m not just posting different versions of the same fish..

 

Don’t worry it’s almost a wrap Sadly nearing the end this year unless we go chasing them upriver, a lot more work and different planning however when the boat ramp isn’t 15 minutes from home. Plus thanks to some state regulation tomorrow will mark a shift in rules in my particular area and will have to release wild chinook, no fun

I finally caught my first Sheepshead…

 

Beat up chinook, 3 coho, 1 jack in the bag this evening..

 

Landed a 28.5” steelhead today!
